Design Recommendations
Through a meticulous iterative design process, I synthesized feedback, refining the design recommendation to align with the users' needs and wants. I am confident this will help shape the final product that is not only functional but also visually appealing.
Color Palette

Focus attention on key information such as cta buttons.
-
Use green buttons to contrast color to blue which makes buttons stand out and easy to locate.
-
Adjust contrast between between text and background.
Typography
-
Establish strong visual hierarchy
-
Keep decorative fonts to a minimum to make the site professional

Eye-catching type is much more persuasive that can reinforce the message of the text.
White Space
-
Helps design look less crowded.
-
Highlights important content provided.
-
Makes the content in the design easily scannable and significantly improve legibility.
Prototype
Based on user insights gathered and the design recommendations, I've confidently developed a prototype for the home screen. This prototype is thoughtfully designed to address user needs and preferences, providing a tangible representation of how UN|HUSHED can enhance curriculum value and website usability to drive subscription renewals.

The Result
From the beginning, the client saw the value of the services provided and was hugely receptive to the design recommendations. They began implementing several of our suggestions such as adding a footer, improving readability and accessibility, and adding a back-to-top anchor to minimize scrolling. To date, the client continues to make improvements based on the projects findings. From these services, the client has gained a better understanding of best practices in UX design, web accessibility, and site navigation.
Key Insights
I learned important skills from my colleagues such as time management, organization, and having a growth mindset.
I discovered the value of embracing imperfections and leveraging them as opportunities for growth and learning.
I enjoyed creating a fluid interview process which allowed me to empathize with users, gaining invaluable insights into their concerns and needs.
Conclusion
Working on this project was a valuable learning experience. I discovered the importance of active communication within a team. It encouraged me to ask questions, ensuring I grasped our group's collective goals and my role within it. Although collaborating in this setting was somewhat new to me, I found it to be enjoyable and rewarding, particularly during our lively discussions about the work we were accomplishing.
